(I wanted the first Like Water for Chocolate-related post)... So, what did everyone think of the ending??
I personally thought it was kind of abrupt and rushed towards the end. Also, who else thought that Tita and Pedro's ..."grand finale" was a little unexpected??
See you all Tuesday : )

haha kelsey I completely agree with you! The "grand finale" was extremely weird...Also, it didn't even seem like a happy ending to me, which was what I was expecting. Personally, I wanted Tita and Pedro to actually get married and Tita would have lots of children =D Oh well.

It was vaguely disturbing. I know it runs with the phosphorous/inner flame theme, but killing yourself by eating mass quantities of wax is just creepy. (....and probably uncomfortable too! XD)

haha. I'm way different, I really liked the ending. Though Tita and Pedro died, they died together, where they wanted to be. They can be with each other in their afterlife! Naomi is right though, eating wax is a littttttle weird. But, i guess if it's the only way to be with your dead husband.....????!!!!

Haha. I personally agree Kelsey. I think that the ending was really rushed, and that it could have been better if the author had left Pedro and Tita to live together on earth...but oh well. At least they ended up together.<3

I thought the ending was really funny!!! I also thought it was kind of a perfect ending because Tita and Pedro got to be together. It kind of reminded me of The Notebook. I have not laughed so hard in a long time.
