What new elective would you enjoy taking during your senior year?

I would love taking a class with magical realism reading! I think it would be fun too, to have a class where everyone picks a book to read on their own, but we would like, share what was happening in it? I don't know...Jacqueline and I also talked about a class only about short stories about what we're reading now, horror stories...we decided that would be interesting :]

I like the idea of a class in which everyone picks their own book. Or maybe, everyone in the class could pick one book the entire class reads? I personally like short stories, with or without a particular theme.

This is a good start. It is possible to have an elective on Magical Realism, lets see if you like Native American Magical realism as well, when we read Tracks in a few weeks.
Short stories are great too, that is why I teach a class on short stories already! Take it when you are seniors!

Ms. Maines- is tracks a movie? I started reading it today and I feel like I've read/seen it before...maybe I already read it, but I don't remember=]

Like Sophie said, I really liked what we were reading; the horror short stories. I don't know if that would be considered "gothic literature" but I enjoyed that unit. If I didn't take that, short story in general would be interesting. :)
